Lukas Bergholz and Andreas Flöter
GAF – Gesellschaft für additive Fertigung mbH
Founded on 3 May 2019 in Zerbst/Anhalt

GAF – Gesellschaft für additive Fertigung mbH was founded by the father-and-son team of Lukas Bergholz and Andreas Flöter. This young and innovative service company that operates in the sector of industrial 3D printing specialises in additive manufacturing. The process that is used is ideally suited to support and complement conventional production.
Individual plastic products are produced for almost all industrial sectors. GAF specialises in the manufacturing of components, casings, formed parts, prototypes, small series and individual parts made of fibre-reinforced plastic. Among other things, the fused film fabrication process makes use of polyamide-carbon compounds and various reinforcing fibres like fibreglass, carbon and Kevlar. This gives rise to highly loadable and immediately usable functional parts. Thanks to their outstanding firmness, these can be used in various domains. The manufacturing process is characterised by the special composition of the raw materials and the use of various printers.

Claudia Tasche
Kurzzeitpflege Lebenswert
Founded on 1 April 2019 in Bitterfeld-Wolfen

The application submitted by Kurzzeitpflege Lebenswert was honoured with an additional sum of special prize money from the Reiner Lemoine Foundation, as well as the special prize given by Kreissparkasse Anhalt-Bitterfeld. This entrepreneur greatly impressed the Reiner Lemoine Foundation (RLS) with her business idea, her extraordinary dedication and the associated implementation.
Claudia Tasche is a trained elderly care nurse who has many specialisations. She founded Kurzzeitpflege Lebenswert in the Wolfen district of the town of Bitterfeld-Wolfen. Her team consists of 12 employees who work round the clock in shifts. Her mission is as follows: “We take care of our guests in the manner in which we would want to be taken care of.” The concept encompasses short-term care, respite care, and a day centre that is scheduled to be set up at a subsequent stage. This concept focuses on psychosocial care, the boosting of all of the capabilities possessed by the elderly people, custodial basic nursing and treatment care.
Taking knowledge of the biography of the individual person as a starting point, the goal is to recognise the person’s resources and ensure that the daily structure is geared towards the respective individual needs, interests and options.  The aim is to preserve and promote the self-reliance and independence of the individual. The conceptual idea behind the facility is to ensure that people needing care are - to the extent that such a course of action is possible for them - integrated into daily life and allowed to become a component of the thoughtful care that is provided. Clear structures and a good organisation made it possible for this particular entrepreneur to offer her employees a positive work-life balance and a familiar workplace.

Martin Zschoche
Bauernhof Martin Zschoche
Founded on 26 September 2018 in Südliches Anhalt

Martin Zschoche has a Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture. He established a farm in the Repau district of the town of Southern Anhalt. His goal is to set up an environmentally friendly, resource-friendly and economically meaningful agricultural enterprise. He runs an agricultural primary production facility for organic-quality vegetables, berries and nuts. This production method and the selection of plantations lead to an enhanced level of biodiversity in the flora and fauna, which in turn promotes the active formation of humus. The plantations are primarily treated manually, in order to avoid soil compaction and conserve fossil resources. The entire cultivation arrangement is designed to increase environmental compatibility. This complex plantation assortment system results in the emergence of both a variety of plants that are in bloom throughout the year and an insect-friendly environment. The emergence of the sustenance-related nature of the endeavour is thus accompanied by the creation of a local recreation option. Over the course of the development of the operation, the sales that are currently being made from the field itself are expected to lead to the establishment of both a farm shop and (subsequently) a farm café. The group of customers includes direct consumers, as well as regional and wholefood shops located in the immediate surroundings.

Anne Kauert
Eiscafé by Anne
Founded on 29 March 2018 in Zerbst/Anhalt

Sole proprietor Anne Kauert founded the ‘Eiscafé by Anne’ in Zerbst/Anhalt. By opening her ice cream shop in the heart of the town, she also managed to bring an empty commercial space back to life. She managed to accomplish this with the help of a sophisticated marketing concept and an interesting choice of products including diverse regional ice cream types, various coffee types and home-baked cakes. Savourers can also use the take-away facility to buy a coffee-to-go or a scoop of ice cream in a cone or cup.
The wonderfully idyllic location on the Nuthe’s stream course attracts members of all age groups, and can be reached easily by the entire target group. She’s the new kiosk operator at the Zerbst Erlebnisbad (adventure pool), which in turn means that she has another string to her bow as well.

Dennis Wronski
MABA Spezialmaschinenbau GmbH
Beginning of economic independence on 18 October 2018 in Bitterfeld-Wolfen

As the managing partner, Dennis Wronski took the entrepreneurial risk associated with an existing and well-known industrial company located in this region, thereby stepping into his era of independence. He managed the company during the continuation of this particular success story.
Bitterfeld-Wolfen’s MABA Spezialmaschinen GmbH was founded in the year 1991. The central workshop of Berlin-based Aktien-Gesellschaft für Anilin-Fabrikation (Agfa), or to be precise, ORWO (which later become the world’s market leader in film technology) gave rise to an independent branch of industry. Today, MABA Spezialmaschinen GmbH develops and manufactures individual mechanical parts, machine systems and facilities, and offers special customised solutions. The list of business areas includes the construction of special machines and filter systems, compressed air technology, steel construction, automatic machine construction, container construction, profile technology and more. Furthermore, the company also specialises in the maintenance, modification and expansion of existing industrial machines and systems. The chemical and pharmaceutical industries are among the other application areas.

The delivery service is available from Monday through Sunday. The employees prepare fresh and diverse pizzas, numerous variations of pasta, salads and much more on a daily basis. When it comes to marketing, Pizza 66 collaborates with the Bitterfeld-based ‘Goitzsche Front’ band. It also offers a self-created pizza bearing the band’s name. Its collaboration with the boys from the ‘Goitzsche Front’ gave rise to a project in which the sum of 50 cents from each pizza that is sold is donated to ‘Goitzsche Front’ in order to support social projects in Bitterfeld-Wolfen and the surrounding areas.
